hi i aint sure what debts i actually owe or how to contact companies. how do i go about this

Hi folks - Was wondering if anyone has ever received a call from One Step Beyond Investigative Services. They're your typical payday loan bottom-feeders. Phone number is 888-589-7145.

Zwicker and Associates keep calling my home for a information on a relative that listed my number as next of kin. I know nothing of this debt nor was a party to it. Even though I have told them this relative does not live at my home they keep harassing me for information. What can I do?

Ok, I have a number of payday loans I defaulted on, due to not being about to re-borrow on a large payday loan. I spoke with all agencies on my due date to let them know the ach/check would not clear and made arrangements with those willing to allow less than the complete amount. CheckSmart is calling me 3+ times a day. Sometimes it's their predictive dialer "All agents are busy, please hold" and sometimes it hangs up on me and they continue to call. I tell them I don't have, nor will have the full amount, but they call my mobile all day long.

Collection agency Penn Credit Corp showed up on my credit report. (I have a CR subscription) I sent a DV letter to them (Certified, return receipt). I know they received it on August 2. I legitimately want the debt validated, I'm not just killing time. t I haven't received a response yet, but my CR updated and now the account reflects "Potentially Negative, Closed" Does this mean they've sold it to someone else? It also reflects that it has been open since January but the previous report (this time in June) is the first it was on. Arrgh.

i recently hire a company to help me with my consolidation and they are charging me like 4000 dlls to do this and its included in my monthly payment i just got them i dont want to pay that much you think i can cancel with them even if i already sign the agreement.

I'm trying to figure out some answers. If the creditor decides to take legal action: 1) If I am self-employed, they wouldn't be able to garnish wages as I do not receive a paycheck, correct? 2) If my husband and I have a home, but the mortgage is in his name only, would the creditors be able to place any type of lien on the property since the mortgage isn't in my name? We are current on all accounts but all are at limit or over limit. credit scores are about 720 and 703 respectively. citi-$5030 payment due 9/3 min $125 my card disc-$9900 payment due 8/26 min $220 wifes card Line of credit-$24k due 8/28 min $469 joint account 2 cars that i owe on, sadly i have no equity so selling is not going to work since i cannot pay off if sold to release title to new owner. one vehicle may get traded in and downsized to cut payment while credit is still good. other vehicle was justpurchased.
