I have everything ready to fax this company, but I can't seem to find a valid fax number. I will be emailing them a cease and desist letter (I have seriously overpaid them and they aren't legal in my state), but I want to back it up with a fax. Any help would be very appreciated. TIA!

I have been trying to figure collections out. I have 2 situations 1. I received summons and complaint which i will answer. There is no proof attached or account number attached. So, i'm not sure what credit card it is for. The suit claims Fia vs me. However, i think i have multiple collection agencies contacting me on this account. So who owns it, if there are multiple collection places contacting me. I've never had a FIA card directly. Never signed an agreement with FIA. How do they get to use the credit card company if they bought the debt and the OC charged it off?

I've just been contacted by americam legal services, I spoke with them after the fifth call that day, the guy was very rude claimed my husband owe 645.25. the guy had a heavy accent, alleged we took out a payday loan in jan 2010. we did take out a payday loan, but it was paid in full in feb 2010. The guy gave me 7 company names they repersent none i used, I asked him which company is claiming i owe them he said he doesnt know the name of the company we supposely took a loan out with nor could he provide a loan number. He has our information which was entered online.

How can I get on loan to pay off several small loans so I can have one note a month instead of six

Equifax made a typo on my husbands credit report which we found in Feb 2010 and had corrected at that time. Chase has been harassing us for information that is not ours, but is related to the SSN that was incorrectly input on their form (1 number different). Now Chase has submitted this to the 3rd collection agency since when Chase called us we said that the person they were looking for never has lived here, and explained the situation.

I am trying to follow the instructions on this site to determine if CashnetUsa is legal in Texas as a CSO. I went to https://direct.sos.state.tx.us/cso/CSOSearch.asp and typed %cashnet% in the CSO Name field. The results say CashnetUsa is canceled and expired. Have I done this right?
