hello please help I defaulted on a payday loan 2 years ago because i was unable to pay it. Now a lawer fand a prosess server has been calling me from the BMA group. they are saying i am guilty of check fraud and trying to commit fraud against a bank. this is all because of a payday loan.. now i will be a convisted felo because of it. i knoow i want to try to set up arrangements to pay them back but they won't go with what i can afford and they want money right away or they will serve me.

I'd like to get some opinions on ways to handle medical collections. This would be for people that have a lot of unpaid medicals and have no means to pay or maybe their only source of income is disability. Which would be the best way to approach the situation? I wonder if when they receive collection letters, would it be good to respond with a letter to address their financial status "and" maybe supply a copy of their disability award letter? Anybody have any suggestions?

What can I do to stop a civil case judgement? I originally went to court for this case and it was dismissed. I received paperwork from other parties attorney and the courts saying case dismissed. Three months later I received a notice for court pertaining to this claim. Unfortunately, I missed the court date due to illness. I filed a motion the following week but have not received a response from the courts. In the meantime, I just received a notice of judgement from their attorney. What can I do to stop the judgement and or get back into court? Why have I not heard anything on my motion??

I received a call today from a company call AIG, phone # 877-474-9964. I spoke with a Mr. Marshall and he stated that I have a pending summon to be served to me for FRAUD. I did take out a loan with Cash Jar for $750 and paid them $785 dollars, I live in the state of california. This man said that they will summon my sister, bestfriend and my boss. I don't know if this company is legit, can somebody please help me? I accidentally made the mistake of telling him that I do have a current checking account with the same bank...

i have been receiving phone calls from an attorney's office saying that star cash processing is going to sue me because they deposited $200 in my account. i did not know that they deposited the money and i did not receive nay papers from them of what kind of payments i would have to make or nothing, so i'm afraid that i am goign to get sued by them for something that i knew nothing about. what should i do at this point?

I've tried to figure this out for myself but can't. I want to know if Magnum Cash Advance is legal in Ohio. They claim they are not a payday lender, so I'm not sure if they would be legal or not. Thanks

I am finally getting close to my first settlement. Gemb has Allied acting as their agent, I am at 186 days and their offer has now come down to 35% which they stated is the most that they will ever do. I was wondering if anyone had done any better? I agreed to a four payment 35% settlement and am still awaiting the fax which was supposed to arrive 3 hours ago.
