lost a 3/4 million $ business in dec.06, actually negotiated wiyh lending bank to take all my investment/retirement property to "let us off the hook" for the amount owed( along with business in question of course, which was real property). They told me at the time that they would cover all the debt associated with this business. I found out 4 months later ( when contacted by the credit card companies that this was not happening). I then paid a debt relief company almost $12k before I quit as none of my creditors were being paid.

I have been reading this post and I have 7 pdl's and was wondering if I could send my payroll department 1 letter saying I revoke any and all voluntary wage assignments?

The last ph# I received today is 866-845-0107 ext.618. I have received many cell phone messages claiming I am a "person of interest" in an important matter & if I don't contact them important decisions will be made without my knowledge. Today was the first time the name CCR and Associates has been mentioned... they said a "suit" has come into their office against me & now I find all these complaints like mine!! I need their address and county they're operating out of to file a complaint...can anyone help me??

When negoiating a cc settlement how can I get the oc to remove the adverse reporting, ie I'm 178 days late. I don't want to pay more than 30% in a one lump sum

Allied Interstate is calling me to collect on a debt from 1999. It is way past the SOL and I'm not even sure it is mine. I do not know what company they say it is for. I received a letter from them today, after I requested it. It gives several company names but, I still don't really know what it is. No matter what, it is past the SOL. What letter do I need to send to them and is there a specific way I need to send it? Also, will they stop calling after I send them something in writing (within 30 days) that says they are not collecting on a legal debt?

If you are looking into this company don't use them, customer service is very unprofessional and plain rude. They keep informing me that they have been trying to contact me both via email and phone and have been unsuccessful, yet I have not received any correspondence from them. They keep threatening to cancel my acct even thought I have more that enough funds in my settlement acct. Just curious if any other Allied clients are being told this same lie?

wow, this has been a pretty eventful day for me... OK, so I have these two small-time CA's, both of them in the same state, trying to collect very small balances for supposed medical debts. Without giving too much away, one is less than $60 and the other one is less than $20. No, those are not typos, the amounts are really that small. Well, I've always been a "principle" kinda guy, which means I am not gonna fork over even a small amount of cash to put an end to this. It isnt my debt, I will not pay it. Its that simple.
