Hello, Has there been any updates to the law suit going on in California with Ameriloan (and all it's "sister" companies)? I still receive calls from them at work and home, have sent them a C&D, filed a complaint with the FTC (I've never received any responses on that) and Ameriloan and 500 FastCash just keep saying they are not subject to these laws. I usually don't answer when they call but it's hard to do at work for sure. Thanks!

Just received a phone call from "Investigator" Breeden regarding an alleged Ten Dollar Payday Loan debt from Chandler, McNair and Associates. I've done an internet search and haven't been able to find any information about this group. Has anyone heard of them or have any contact information?

Hi there, I will try to sum this up as quickly as possible. I have a very large "student loan" through a company called ACS. I took it out at about $17,000 and it is now at 21+,000. After I graduated college ACS wanted me to make very large payments that I could not afford. I tried making partial payments only to be charged $25 fee for not paying in full. In short, my monthly payments go up, never down. I have tried to work with ACS for over a yr. now to try to have my payments lowered or create some sort of payment plan.

I recently settled an '8500' account with asset acceptance for 2500. I got the letter of agreement, and after some hoopla, paid through check by phone, (temp checking account). I waited a month for the debt settlment letter, nothing. called them and got a story about how they just sent it out today. two weeks later, nothing. I'm owrried they are oging to try to collect the rest of it or sell it. What can I do?

I am about to go to court for a garnishment - I have tried talking with the law firm filing but the money they are asking for I can't meet - it is outrageous and they were very rude and un caring - is there anything I can do - I'm sure I'll lose in front of the judge. anyone know Indiana laws? thanks

With one mistake I somehow messed up my checking which resulted in massive charges and ultimately resulting in the payday loan payments being returned. Some how I've managed to survive barely by continuous refinancing of these payday loans. It's gotten way out of hand and not sure how to handle this. I live in Texas and the loans are from $200 with spotya, $400 with ace cash express, and $400 with cashngo. I've refinanced many times almost every two weeks. I just don't know what to do now that my account is so messed up.
