I live in Southern NJ. Just one month ago, my discover card charged off at 180 days delinquency. I was laid off early in 2009 and had been unemployed for 7 months. I was not able to pay my monthly payments after a little while without a job. I even tried a hardship program but couldn't afford that either.
Sorry I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but when I try to sign in it says my password is not correct and it will be emailed to me. It wasn't. Help
I have a $190 Loan from Cash Cow in Louisiana. I had to provide a post dated check to take out the loan. I recently lost my job and now this loan in a week overdue. The lady that keeps calling me says she is going to go the sheriffs office, if I don't pay it. I don't know what to do. She knows my situation.
Can a Housing Authority garnish federal income taxes to pay off a debt owed to the housing authority for rent and damages from a previous tenant? And, if so, what are the steps?
Does anyone have the address of Accounts Receivable Technology? I need to file a complaint with various state and federal agencies since they keep trying to collect a debt (over one year, even though I continually tell them I don't know this woman) from someone who had my cell phone number four years ago.
Thanks in advance!

What is my best option. I have debt from my divorce that was given to me. I put all on a few cards and ran up the balance. I have paid the fees thus far but I will not be able to continue to juggle the fees and pay them on time as I am paying out just a little below what I earn. Which is the best route for me to take to pay off the debt and have some cash available for day to day needs and emergencies as I have no liquid assets?
