I just never called back. I don't owe anything. I looked them up before I was going to call. What happens next?

How long does it take after defaulting on a loan (approx) for the creditor to get the the point of garnishing or getting a judgement against you ? Just defaulted. Need to know what to expect

I have received the very same threatening calls from this company involving an old 'closed' US bank acct. They actually yelled at my husband and told him if he did not have access to the money, to borrow it from a neighbor or to sell something !! I called them back and told them I was reporting them to the FTC, the oversight committee, and consumer affairs. If indeed we owe money, I requested a statement, which was not forthcoming. I received another harrassing call today, and was threatened with litigation.

I don't know why - but, for me - the forum posts are not showing up when you view the page, but when you click on the thread, then you can see the posts. This is the same thing that happened a few days ago. :shock:

Some guy called me saying I was going to be arrested Monday at my job and I was being sued for $5000. I am a little shocked. Can they even call and threaten me with that? I have no idea how they come up with that amount. He couldnt even tell me who the creditor was but said if I paid 500 today it would be done. I never took any kind of loan for even 500.

Today I recieved a message from an officer max wide of the united states legal dept. He sounded forgien. He left a number 718 340 3155. It is a new york number and he said that I was having legal charges pressed agaist me. I called the number back and it went straight to a voice mail. I would think that if it was real than it would have more than just a voicemail telling me to leave a message. I looked up the us legal dept online and this is what it brought me to. If i have a product made to help people with debt issues, how can i post information here? I dont want to be accused of spamming but want to help out with a product I have

Need all the input I can get on this. This is in regard to a JDB who has brought suit. For their proof, they have supplied an affidavit signed by an employee of the JDB. During discovery they showed a print out from the global debt registry to prove their chain of custody. They also show facsimiles of several statements. Is that enough proof and should I try to settle before going to court or is that not valid proof? Court date is immediate. Any help would be appreciated.
