Can you help me with my payday debt?

Hoping you guys can help me here. I got a call this morning on my cell phone from a woman claiming to be with PRA. Told me I owed over $800 on a debt with Verizon and asked if I could make the payment all at once or needed a payment plan. Since I had *no* idea what she was talking about, I started asking questions. When she told me that this was dating back to 1996, I attempted to stop the discussion immediately by asking for details in writing, that I was not going to simply hand over hundreds of dollars to someone who just called my cell asking for it.

Two points, 1 Stand your ground with these people, I was drowning in PDL 2 yrs ago and said enough, think I had like 12 or so going. One day called all 12 as some were store fronts and others internet based and told them ok I am closing all access to my bank account so the money stops today, you either work with me or do not get paid you have 5 min to decide. about 1/2 worked with me and got paid the others got nothing.

Ihave a 19,000 dollar jugdement for a timeshare i didnt want and made one payment on in 2002 and they took me to court in 2003 and now they are in my bank account and trying to take me back to court again. I also have a 10,oo back taxes for the IRS for getting to much money back on my taxes which was not even my mistake. It was the person who filed my taxes out. If I file for bankrupcty chapter 7 will all of this go to my husband and he will have to pay this. What can I do.

I was under the impression that Interest Rates are accumulative in their cost, meaning that the actual cost of my two cards combined is really 20.50%. So it would make sense to consolidate these into a lower interests account.

For over a year now Profile Recovery Group has been using totally illegal collection practices to get me to pay on a pay day loan debt that my deceased sister had taken out in October 2006. They refuse to talk to my attorney, and they call everyone in the book to get a hold of me. I was listed as a reference and they are telling me it is my responsibility to pay the debt. But last night they called another reference and told her that because my sister did not pay she and I would have to pay.

Been reading on the forums and getting some answers but still not completely sure where to start. In a terrible mess with Internet and bank account seriously in negative, continually gets charges. I am going to call my bank after I post about closing and re-open a new account. Then what should or how should I proceed on these accounts. Desperatley need help. Fixing to get kicked out of rental house and single mother of three in Missouri. Ex never pays child support and went to this easy to get but can't get out of payday loans or don't know how to get out.
