I am trying to get out from under 5 payday loans. I need to close my account but could user some advice. Currently I am overdrawn $500, my paycheck is direct deposited on tuesday, and on the same day all these companies will debit my account. When they do, nothing will be left. What is the best way to close this account and get my paycheck?

I received a call from a woman yesterday claiming to be from Calvary... a collection agency. She called from 918-665-5600. She stated that my account from HSBC with my Orchard Bank Mastercard was now in her office with a balance of almost $1900!

I live in pa. I have 3 payday loans I have not seen any of these on your site. They are mmg holdings 250.00, kenwood services 300, and ace cash 300.The apr is 782%. We have paid only interest totaling around 1000. Our account is in the negative and could not close we had the bank put a hard hold on it. Till we can get our balance even. We never saw our contract because they sent a virus with it and it was distorted. They will be calling in a few days when they see the hold and can't get the money. What are my next steps or best options?

I have 10,00o balance with Discover - basically fees and interest got it this big. They offered 7500 in 3 payments? Should I take it? It shows paid in full on credit report. Will it matter since I have settled 3 cards? Should I let it go to collections and try to settle for less but the calls and stress will continue............:(:confused:

I got a call from an attoryney for tendollar payday loan. I stopped payment by closing my account because they had already took a lot of money out of me and they would not give me an address to send a money order in. I claimed bankruptcy but forgot to put them on it. I know it was not for more than 300 dollars but now they are trying to take me for 600dollars how do I stop them? I know they are MTE financial. i live in Maryland. Please help.

Asset Alliance just called actually asking for my manager at work, and said they we're reporting me to Credit bureaus, and good luck on the consequences. Any advice.

Got a message on my answering machine from a guy who mumbled and sounded half asleep. All I caught was "so you are trying to avoid talking to me and not pickup up your phone huh, well you better call me at 1-866-691-3568 regarding the debt you owe". Since I have no debt I called, and got a woman, who when I gave her my phone number, said my number was not in their system, and she asked for my name, address, and SSN. I immediately refused because I thought this was some kind of scam. She yelled at me for having at attitude. So I called her a couple of nasty names and hung up.

Our mortgage company wont work with me for loan modification and have used all kinds of delaying tactics, and now they have given me notice to auction out our house next month 6 th of july. We cannot afford to move. We have owned this 28 years old house for 8 years, and this is our only place to live. The Mortgage company GMAC it is a nightmare to deal with. During our research ,Chapter 13 seems to be the only option or is there another way out ?? Any feed back folks,what should we do. Thank you Jay During our research
