I have been fighting with these goons for months and they just don't get it. As I have previously posted, I borrowed $390 and have paid back through roll overs and paydowns $910. They continually call and harrass me stating I owe them $65. I have filed complaints with the BBB, Attorney General and FTC. This is the latest response they sent to the BBB and of course my rebuttal.

I have a credit card that is listed as a charge-off/sold to another lender with HSBC, the CA is Arrow. Who do I approach with the offer/pay-to-delete letter. Both agencies are listed on my report with all 3 bureaus and have different/new account numbers. THX

I have been trying to get Arrow to verify a debt. I even hired an attorney whom stated they have 30 days to answer but do not have to at which time we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. I was trying to settle on a house by the deadline, that's gone. I tried so many times to call and make a settlement offer and they wouldn't even discuss the account with me. At this point my only other cheap option if they do not respond is to file a complaint with the attorney general's office of my state. It is an election year and I do believe he is runing for Gov.

When your account has been sold to a third party collections agency what exactly does that mean? It may be a stupid question , but I just want to get some clarification... thanks anyone who can help.. I oew 500 on an old credit card debt and the letter i recieved says it was sold to goldstein henderson and weiss.

I received two calls today from the following numbers on my caller ID;052-535-595 and 825-354-61. Right away that told me that it was bogus. Left message for me to call them at 206-855-5236 which is a landline number in Washington DC. Tried to say they were US government and I had a payday loan I was being sued for. Never been served anything and never got anything in mail. They tried to get my wife to give them her CC #. I told her it is a scam. I just wanted to post the numbers they used so people can be aware.

Does my ex have to report his new wifes income to his bankruptcy atty in the state of Texas? He has a chapter 13.

I just get a phone call from the 214-206-8758 number. Do not recognize it,so I did not answer. There is a voicemail. It is a Mrs. Usova from a DNI Recovery,saying that they are going to do an immediate wage garnish and to call her back at 877-855-1624 to discuss my options. Has anyone ever heard of this company and deal with them? I do have a few payday loans that I stopped paying because I am losing my job next month. I live in NJ. I am sure that this is what this is all about. Thanks for the info. John

For the past two months I've been contacted by a group of callers with thick, difficult to understand accents calling to collect on a debt that I allegededly owe. For the record, back in June 2008 I filed for Chapter 7 and it was discharged in December 2008, I am debt-free aside from medical bills that I have currently and make regular payments on.

They keep calling my place of employment even after I have told them to stop calling me there as I am not allowed to receive personal phone calls. They are harassing me. What can I do?
