Good morning! I'm trying to find out if SSM Group LLC has any relation to Midland Financial LLC? I just checked my bank account and approximately 2 weeks ago SSM Group LLC deposited $200 in my bank account (without contacting me) and now suddenly I receive a weird call concerning a legal matter at work, and am told to call an 877 number with a case number to get it resolved before it goes to court. It's supposedly an ERG & Associates collecting for Midland Financial, which I did recieve a loan from a year ago (same deal, they never contacting me) and I defaulted on after paying $120.

Hello, I graduated from College with a B.S. in Health Fitness in Preventive and Rehabilitative Programs. Sadly, I went into college without a clear picture of where I wanted to end up which lead me to 3 different major changes and turned a 4-5 year stent in college into a 7 year train wreck. I put myself in debt paying for school and the cost of living. I am now $7,800 in credit card debt and $50,000 deep in student loan debt.

Just received settlement letter form Discover 50% for 5 of my card. Six card I have does not qualify for settlement. I'm not sure if there any truth to that ? ben

Has anybody settled any STORE CARDS with world financial bank? They hold all kinds of store cards from Victorias Secret to Speigel. I have a $5K balance from a furniture store. I am broke and laid off with a medical condition and need to settle. From looking on the web they might be affiliated with Alliance? Bad thing, right? Can't even tell who to call.

OK, so I have one card where I made my last payment Feb 11, due date Feb 11. It is one of my chase cards. I cannot figure out how they are determining "days late". On June 11, how many days late will I be? a) 90 days, clock started ticking 30 days after my first missed payment (3/11) so Apr 11-May 11-June 11 = 90 days b) 120 days, clock started ticking one day after my last payment 2/11, so Feb12-Mar11(30days)+ Mar12-Apr11(30days)+Apr12-May11(90days)+May12-June11(30days) = 120 days or, some other calculation? I can't for the life of me figure out how Chase calculates # days late. thanks
