I've been reading a bunch of posts about banks that don't use chexsystems but haven't been able to find the list. I live in Wisconsin and I already know US Bank won't open an account for me. Does anyone know what banks don't use it or where I can find this list? Thanks for the help!

west asset agreed to debit my account for 20.00 a month till the bill was paid in full. on 4/23/2010 they hit my account for the full amount of 710.06 causing overdraft and further repurcsion with my account. tried to settle with a phone call but they were very rude and hateful

This forum has been very helpful in educating me to settle my CC debt myself. I still need a little clarification on the difference between settling with the CC company versus settling with a collection agency. My credit report will be better if I settle with the CC company, correct? But I may get a lower settlement from the collection agency, correct? Thanks

I also took out a loan last year from VIP for $200 and i'm now receiving a call from a gentlemen by the name of witnered beatty asking me to pay back 450.00 or they are going to contact my employer to garnish my check about 1280.00 in the state of CA. And wanted to make payment arrangements but he said I have to pay $100 for him to hold the account. I didn???t commit to this at all. I just advised him that I will get back to him and see what I can do. He said that I have until May 28 2010 12PM central time or they are going to file papers to have my check garnished.

After paying off about $3000.00 in debt in Jan 2010, this (W.C.I) creditor shows up on my credit report!!!! who are they? Please Advise!

the collection agency known as andreu paler or something like that out of miami has put a garnisment of wages against my wife . what legal steps does see have???? i just sent off a cashiers check for 2 grand after receiving a letter stating that this would pay off the debt, signed by the palmer. it had a date for this discount payment and they should receive it before this date. please tell me i didnt waste 2 grand on these jerks.

hello! i have been recieving phone calls from the BAM group saying i was going to be served w/ court papers if i did not pay them. they said it was for a payday loan i took out in August of 2008 and i did pay a portion of it but then i moved about 2 hours away and forgot about it. i was told a few months ago ina random conversation that in Oklahoma it is against the law to write a post dated check so they are taking a risk by doing that and that if they ever take anything to court the judge usually doesn't side with them because of this law.

do i have to be behind on my payments before I use consolidation?
