Since your company has no license in my state, the loan contract I have with you is not valid. The state of Alabama requires Internet payday lenders to be licensed in MY state.

Hi there. I've read in this forum about "Can the US collection agency find me in Canada?". For my case, it is the other way around. I left Canada due to a failed franchise business that put me broke. Lost everything. Tried to get up, but didn't work out. No choice but to move to US and temporarily join some relatives and find my start point again. I'm working again and would like to resolve my debts in Canada in due time. For the time being, since I'm not in the position to fix it yet, I'd like to be informed more on my given situation. So I took out an online PDL with check n go a few months ago...and now the payments are starting to get to me...300+ a check. At this point ive pretty much payed off the principal and requested a defferal or a refinancing, they said I wasn't eligible for either. I also have a mobiloans loan that I need to take care of too. I have been making my bi weekly payments to both on time. Whats the best way to go about them both? Thanks a ton

My place of business, my mom and my cell phone all got calls from a VIOPphone # 5133794543...a Stephanie Clark stating they have legal paperwork and to call a 18779054335 to arrange payments today because I have been notified and served. So I call them (expecting it to be a scam) and the guy, McKenzie, states I owe $800 to a payday loan from back in Jan and that if I do not pay today, then I will be taken to court.

Has anyone been successful in receiving a refund from Peppercash? I live in California and I had several loans with them. I sent them a letter stating that they owed me $337.50 from all finance fees I paid (thats minus $1500 from the current loan due). I am hoping I get the refund.

I contacted East Side Lenders concerning the loan I got from them. I live in California and they are illegal. They responded saying I need to contact Alliance Asset management at 1-800-399-8584. My question is how do I contact these people and what should I say. I have yet to hear from them and I just want to deal with the account and get it over with. Should I call them and say "It has come to my attention that you have an account from East side lenders in my name" . . . Then what? request them to send the debt via mail?
