My son bought a train ticket in Germany on a day trip from a vacation in England several years ago and somehow ended up signing up for some sort of railcard by accident. After returning home he received a bill from a German company for this card (I guess, we could not read the letter because all in German but it was clearly asking for money.) We ignored it thinking it must be a mistake. Now 3 years later we have a just got a huge bill from a debt collection agency in the Netherlands which is the original amount plus a large fee. They are threatening to pursue this through the courts.

My wife found a negative item from WFNNB due to an issue we had with her Victorias Secret card. They charged a security fee for something we did not want. I called the number given and was told the charge would be taken care of and we would not have to pay the fee. This was for $80.00. Well, now it shows up on her credit report as being 30 past due! I don't have any documents to say that Victorias Secret took care of this and no proof otherwise that I had that conversation. Any advice?

i have gotten in over my head and im thinking of defaulting on cashnetusa. just need to have a couple of months and i will be able to cover the debt. does anyone know about texas law, will this be consider writting a bad check or will cashnetusa work out a payment plan

I have a question. I have had an account with Chrysler Financial for a car that I have purchased from them since 2006. These guys will call up to 5 times a day if you are a few days late on paying them. When I actually pick up the phone and tell them that I can't pay right now, etc., they say the calls will continue until I make payment arrangements since the calls are electronically generated. Is this a form of harrasment that I can do something about? Isn't this obsessive according to the law?

I will be filing chapt 7 shortly but have a question about 2nd mortgage. I'm current on both 1st and 2nd because we need to keep our home, for a disabled child, but would like to modify the 2nd and 1st if possible from ARM to fixed. 1st is with bank of america 2nd with GMAC. Should i approach the lenders before filing and do I need to reaffirm both?

I have a payday loan with VIP loan shop and Intergrity Advance. They are both for $300 and charge me $90 every two weeks. This is draining my bank account, and i'm pretty sure the intrest is illegal in Minnesota. I have paid each company at least $600. If I just close my bank account how do I handle them? Will they call me at work? If I send them a letter from a lawyer about their unlawfull practices will they stop or will they keep coming after me?
