My ex bf co-signed a private school loan for me. When the check came and I signed it, he signed it and deposited into HIS account, and used the funds for something else. Needless to say we are no longer together. He promised to pay me back by repaying the loan. Instead he missed some payments which would prompted the loan company to send me late notices, I would call him to find out why he didnt pay.

Here is my question, Why do they need last two tax returns. Does the IRS get involved in the Ch 7 BK processings? Also if married and filied jointly for both of them. in 09' we owe. Cause he made alittle more and I had 2 jobs and unemployment However in 08' taxes. filied married jointly and recieved a small refund but He was the only one working. My last job was on the 07' tax return. That year was new to us and we had someone do it for us on the computer.

I get 1 to 3 calls a day from Maryland New Jersey and California I answered them at first and tried to find out what they wanted, but the person on the other end is either from India or Pakistan and I could not understand them when I asked for someone I could understand they hung up. I then googled the numbers and found out they are from a group called CBE, I also see that they are a very disreputable company. How do I get rid of them short of changing my phone number.

I am happy with the $ amount, I just want to make sure this is the last I will hear of this debt.

What if my debt is not to credit card companies? What if it's health facilities, cable. or the bank?

Can I close out a bank account that has been garnished/attached? I did not receive any kind of notice until it was done. Also, the only deposits in the account are federal annuity pension. Can they take the Direct Deposit? If the bank garnished money in the account today can they do it again the next day without restarting their procedure?
