Hi everyone, I recently signed up with Oak View Law Group to help me with my debts. Last week I pulled my credit report and there is an account I have that is no longer showing on my report. How can this be? I received a collection letter from a collection company a few months ago and sent them a validation letter. So far I have had no response...nothing at all. Now I don't even see it shown on my report. What is going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated

HI, I have a huge debt of credit cards due to opening a business. I have never been late nor have I missed a payment but I see this debt as unsurmountable and I know there will be a time soon when I can not pay. What would be the best option for me without wrecking my credit score?

they are forever buying accounts and i was stupidly told by a Chase Leins rep that they can see that they have many dealing with them. Don't take my word for it. Someone is being paid under the table to get your viatl info to even know who you bank with. palisades uses the net to pull up where you live....they done it to me. I had to write the state Attorney General since palisades did not get me any paperworkk as to who they are or worked for.

I do not know where to call for credit card debt consolidation and not to be a victim of any scam?

I was just getting ready to send out my Motion to Vacate and now today I got a letter from the court to appear on Monday (three states away) stating that I need to prove my Objection to Levy. I sent both the court and Goldman & Warshaw to stop the Levy due to the fact I and not working and my partner has been helping me with my bills. I am guessing that with the short notice they are expecting me not to show…. They would be wrong.

Hi, been reading here for a while I finally made the first step in trying to take care of my payday loan hell. I live in AZ. I have a $300 loan out with Instant Cash USA. The payment did not go through, and they sent me an email. This is what I sent them: "Hello, Sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, it has become dificult to pay back the loan in the amount withdrawn. Would you please send me an address where I can mail money order payments? Also, just to make sure fees are where they need to be, could you send me your Arizona business license number? I'd hate to overpay.

Some collection agency called and said my loan from Everest Cash advance was sold and that they were going to file court proceedings. I have already sent letter to Everest telling them loan is illegal in PA. I told collection agency that they could not call me at work and that the loan was illegal. Should I worry about court proceedings?
