I have been off work since june of last year. I have been upable to make payments on my credit cards. I was trying to keep my house note payed. Now one of my credit card people have sent me a summon by a sheriff. I dont know what to do because I dont have any money coming in. I am trying to get disablity but that is a long process.

I live in the state of Texas. I have taken out 10 payday loans. I recently went thru some serious financial crisis. I am receiving numerous phone calls at work and home that have been extremely harrassing. Please let me know if any of these payday loans are illegal in the state of Texas. I really find this information hilarious. You people are full of crap. I work for West Asset Managment and I know what goes on there. It is not harrassment to call for the collection of a debt. By the way, debtors LIE all the time!!!!!! Of course they are going to say these things....they owe money that they dont want to pay. No one likes getting a collection call, but if people would just talk to us we can help you figure out how to handle paying off accounts. It is NOT our fault that YOU owe money!!!! Act like mature adults and eal with your financial obligations.

Well this is my first time ever getting myself into this mess. I am currently 26 years old and I have lived with parents that brought me up better but some how I still messed up.

I got married in 08' and the wedding / cutting my hours to work on it. That cleared my savings and my income. So After getting married, I found a job closer to home that was full time but only min wage. My husband wanted me to have a relable car, so we went out and get a new 08' Toyota yaris.

Do have a form to request a collection agency,"I want to deal and pay the account to the actual debtor", not the agency? also a form to make an offer to settle out the debt?

Sorry: to continue. I have paid $150.00 since that time and finally my credit report shows I owe $715.00 out of the $5,000 I owed in 2006. I have never missed a payment. However, I stopped talking with Palisades, rude, etc. Now I am recieving letters from attorney saying records show I am being sued by Palisades. I have a record of the payments made to Providian and now to Chase. Any should I send a check for the balance on my credit report to Chase? any advise. Kindest Regards.
