Hello everyone just wanted to tell everyone that everything is going really well for me so far. Had sent all my letters out to the paydday loan co. and had a little problems with getting the bank account closed and keeping it closed. One payday loan co. inpreticular I think thats how ya spell that word anyway. Paychecktoday.com still tryed to put an ACH in and it reopened the closed account up again. So back to the bank and had them close it again and refund the over draft fee and blocked it for the next 30 days.

What happens when a debt collectors calls and says you have old debt from over 10yrs. ago. You believe you already paid it off but dont have the documents stating this. it doesnt show on my credit reports, but they say it doesnt matter you still have to pay? what do i do?

I filed bankrupcy in 1989 and included a Ann Taylor credit card, over the years whenever I pull my credit report even after 7 1/2 years it shows activity (when there hasen't been since the bankrupcy) last activity/reported 4/2009. There has been no activity on this account since the 80's and they seem to be refiling this debt over and over, how can I get this removed from my credit reports?

My boyfriend's home is in forclosure. He's a contractor and had client go bankrupt on him and put him in a finacial spiral. He's been fighting with his mortgage company for almost a year now (trying to get a loan modification) and really getting the run-around. He does make pretty good money, but he's self-employed and it's hard to get re-financed. He has a bunch of equity in the place, probably 200,000. He has substancial credit card debt. I am getting down to my last payment but things have been so tight financially I don't think I can afford the last payment. I don't know how I should approach the collection agency.They said they can't strecth out my payments beyond the 5 months. I have two outstanding pdl's and I don't see any ending. I have one loan with Loan Point USA in which I have paid $1620.00 for a $600 loan with a $600 balance I pay $360 each month on this one. The other is with mycashnow and have paid $874.58 and have a balance of $500 on a $700 loan. Your help is appreciated.
