Hi, I have not had any debt at all since 2004. Paid of everything. No credit cards no loans. Nada. So a few months ago a start getting calls from AACC 757-209-2028. I never answer the phone or reply to message cause i dont owe anyone. Then maybe 6 weeks ago i got a bill from AACC saying i owe $3100. I lost it!! never. So i called and requested information about this debt. It is ~$3100 from a 1980 debt something about a VISA card to someone named Sherman.

Hello, I live NYS and have a payday loan (internet) they are not legal in NYS but can they still come after me? I have been trying to pay them but they dont take payments, they given me to there Payday Loan Collection Agency. Can they put a lein on my house or take me to court? Thanks NYS

I have a complaint with National Credit Works. I owe $200 they say I owe $520. Lost job, not working. Receiving PA $93 twice a month. They call threaten to take me to court. I told them I need paper work from them. I had to give them my email info & they sent it right way. Ms. Britt gave me the Money Gram Info. I told them I can pay $20 monthly. The money gram info is in a different state. I question it they got mad. The manager Robert Gunther told me I had to send a check over the phone. I don't have a bank account so how can I send a check.

I have a Chase credit card where I owe about $14,000. I am more than 3 months behind, and Chase has offered to settle the account for $4300. They sent a letter with all the terms of the settlement agreement. They are requesting I pay the $4300 in 4 payments. Everything looks good, except that nowhere in the letter does it specify how the account will reported to the credit bureaus. I've called several times and asked them to include some language (i.e.: account paid in full, with a remaining balance of 0.00), but they refused.
