I have defaulted on an internet loan from Speedy Cash. I have received a letter from the CA (Ad Astra Recovery to be exact) with the correct balance I owe to Speedy Cash. I have then logged onto my account on Speedy Cash.com and I had the option to submit a payment directly to Speedy Cash. If I could still pay on the Speedy Cash website, then why did they send me to a collection agency? If I pay directly to Speedy Cash, then what should I do about the collection agency?

I have a couple of loan out to help with bills. I have a castle payday lian for 475 and they want 641 I live in California I also have an installment loan with cashnetusa for 2900 paid 2087 and they want 2400 more I can't afford to pay so much please help

How do you determine if a payday loan in Alabama is excessive, ie in violation of the law that says $17.50 is the most that can charged for a $100 loan for 15 days?

I am being threatened with a lawsuit from an illegal payday lender that I had a loan with a couple of years ago. I live in Kansas and the payday lender is Big Sky. I do owe them money, but when I found out they were illegal I didn't bother to pay it back. What steps do I take to make them go away? And how far can they take this since they didn't loan to me legally?

I received a check from Mel Harris and associates for a refund there no explanation as to what is for. Just wonder if this is valid.

ive getting a lot of calls from debt collection attorney's, i dont know what to do or to say ? should i get a lawyer and let them handled the talking and consolidate my debts (pay day loans and credit cards) ? one of the companuy just recently sued me for not paying and garnished my income.. i just dont want to happen that again.

I took out a loan from Castle Payday Loan for $450 with a interest of $157.50 which brings me to a total of $607 to pay back. They sent me an email after I got the loan stating that they would automatically take the payments of $157.50 out of my account each month. After 2 payments, I checked online and my total was still $607! I called them and was told those are fees to basically hold off until I can pay back the $607 in full. What should I do?

Dear Mobiloans, It has come to my attention that payday lenders must be licensed by the state of Texas in order to offer loans to its residents. Since your company has no license in Texas, the loan contract I have with you is not valid.

Here goes. We have been with the same bank since june 2002. They have helped us in the past with denying charges on our account. They even opened us a new account to protect our paycheck. Last week i noticed a computerized check cleared on my account for 30 from fastloans4me. Wwll i called in to the bank and ask that it and not be paid filled out affidavit and got it notarized. Nothing happened looked back and the same check has cleared for several months. They refuse to help me. One lady even said this is happening all the time. And stated i had a problem.

I am currently residing in the state of South Carolina on March 29, 2013 I recieved a interent loan from Cash In A Wink of $300.00 dollars to date I have paid $517.00 dollars. On the 30th June 2013 I informed Cash In A Wink that I have already paid what I borrowed however they informed me that I have a balance of $262.00 dollars and since I closed my bank account they will be do a wage garnishment. Should I just pay the $262.00 or go to my payroll personnal?
