Hi I received a call from a person stating they are coming to serve me at my home in Florida regarding a payday loan, they did not have my correct address nor my e-mail address. I did take a few out in 07 but I honestly don't remember form whom, I lost my job, my home and was about 6 months pregnant at the time with my first so, memory really wasnt too clear then, I slepted a lot and was really ill. Either way, what are the Florida laws on this loan company and the collections company that purchased it.

Hi Nelly, This note is to discuss Capital One case. They previously sued me in a different county from my home city. I requested the honorable judge to transfer the case because of wrong venue and the honorable judge did. I did not appear, just wrote letter to judge. Now case is in my home county. The Capital One Credit Card's original balance was around $1200. Interest and penalty for one year made the total balance around $2200. My family is financially not in a good shape with my credit totally screwed up and my spouse with a lot of credit card debt.

This is addressed mainly to those who have experience with or who have successfully completed negotiations with CACH LLC/CACV/Collect America/Square Two and J.A. Cambece Law Office regarding a credit card debt. Now, I've read a lot of threads before posting and I know many of you are 'passionate' about this subject but please, keep the venom and hate to a minimum; I'm in need of some real information on how to go about getting this resolved. Here's my situation.

If the credit report doesn't contain an account number (or lists it as "N/A" or "XXXX" what information should I provide to the collectors to reference my debt? SS#?

I live in Indiana. I currently have a payday loan through Advance America (Store Front) for about 300 dollars. It is coming due this Tuesday and I have no way of paying it off or even mustering the 75 dollars for the payment option due to a series of unfortunate incidents. My bank has a tendency of paying checks even into negative amounts. I have every intention of paying this loan off as I do make good on my debts.

Have had NO problems with either FIA or Regions Bank (my credit card bank). Maybe it's just B of A? I'm never late with my payment, although I can not often pay more than my minumun, $120. FIA has never harassed or called me. I was unemployed for a year, which is why my limit is topped at $4000 (had to put two rents on it). I WILL pay them off and won't ever be late - I even paid on time while on unemployment - they have always been cooperative and nice. They don't up my limit, but the haven't cancelled me, either.
