What is the difference between the effect debt management will have on my credit score and the effect debt settlement will have on my credit score?

I have called most of my payday lenders,,, and they are telling me they can't accept the small amount i am offeiring and they will keep adding finance charges each day.. one loan co. said i could make the 50 dollar payment but i would incur 150 for the month in finance charges do i just wait till they turn it to 3rd party collections... then do they have to accept payments

Okay, so back in October of 2008 I had a medical test done without insurance that cost me something in the area of $2400 (not including random other smaller bills associated with it, but I paid all of those). When I got the bill I called the hospital and told them that I was a poor college student that only worked part time and paid for my car/rent/other bills and could not afford that. They sent me some application for financial aid, I filled it out and forgot about it.

its been slightly over ten years since i filed chapter 13 bankruptcy and i still,quickly,get rejected every time i apply for any typeof credit.Why?

Does recording the conversation help in any way and what are the laws?

I got a letter from midland funding saying i owe them $19,000 that i have no clue where it came from.But theyre sending the letter to a different address where ive never lived.So i assumed it is a joke that i ignored the letter.Now,two weeks later an officer came to that address looking for me stating i have to call that number on the letter.But that person who lived there told the officer i knew him but he doesnt lived here and never had.What should i do?

I am not past due with any creditors, but I feel over my head with debt. I have 9 credit cards. 3 chase 1 w/13% 1 w 11% and 1 with 26% 3 citi 1 w/6.9% 2 with 29.99% 2 discover 1 w/6.9% and 1 w/16.9% 1 Am Ex w/3.9% 1 BOA w 16% Also have 2 mortgages with BOA, checking is with another bank. I thought about letting them go past due to get help, but am scared. I know I will mess my credit up, but it is already saturated. Total on credits cards is about 65k. I only would like to settle the high interest cards. Will interest rates raise on the others if I do that?

I signed affidavits to revoke ACH debits from my checking account to make payday loan payments. I also sent "the letter" via e-mail on 3/29/10 & 3/30/10 to all 4 payday lenders that I am dealing with. I have not had a response from any of them. I checked online with Ameriloan, USFastCash & OneClickCash and when I enter my username & password all 3 say "sorry cannot access your account at this time". I checked online with EZPayDayCash and it says my account is in collections. Do I wait to hear from them or what is my next step? I don't want anything sent to collections, etc.
