They told me there is no other way to make payments with them since I am in IL. The only way for me to make payments is to pay the 179.00 every 2 weeks. Is this true? It is an installment loan and I know it but I just wanted to freeze it and pay it off in increments of 100.00 so interest stops collecting on it and she said no I have to pay the 179.00 every 2 weeks there is no other option. Any had luck with them in IL?

I settled my B of A account 5 days ago, received the letter and made the first payment. I thought it was wierd that the 2nd payment wasn't due until May 30th almost two months away and the 3rd and final payment due June 30th. Well that was fine with me so I agreed to the dates the rep gave me. Well yesterday I received a call from B of A on my cell phone which they never have called before and the girl stated that she needed a payment today for $290 to keep my account from going to the next level of delinquency.

I had a collection with them back in 04, it was paid and settled, however it keeps showing up on my credit report and causing me problems. Any suggestions on how to deal with this unethical company and clear it up?

I have to file my answers to a civil suit from a junk debt buyer. There was an affidavit which they included as their evidence of the debt. Am I supposed to file a motion to strike the affidavit as hearsay when I file my answers to the complaint? Or do I list it in my affirmative defenses? This will be in the state of Georgia.

I just checked my account with paycheck today and it says my account has these words "Written Off" what does that mean? Does that mean the B-----ds are going to turn me into collections? Or does it mean its done. Paycheck Today has not sent me any E-mails because I told then that since they would not provide me with "real" address, proof of licence, when they was going to send me my "refund" that there was to be no more furthur communcation between them, anyone connected to them , at all.

I am almost 3 months behind on my BofA cc. I called them recently and the CSR told me that the acct has been turned over to a collection agency and gave me the contact nbr (877-496-4170); he said he did not know which agency it was. I tried calling the nbr, but the office was closed, will try again tomorrow. Is this standard procedure for BofA? Is this just a third party working for BofA? I thought accts don't go to a collection agency until it charges off around the 180 day mark. I hope to be able to settle with them. Thanks.

How do I go about get out of payday loan debt and how much will it cost me to take care of it and be debt and stress free.

I paid MCM $100, then felt supicous afterwords. That was so stupid but I cancelled my card immediately. That was today. What are my options now, do I get a lawyer. I really owed money, tried to pay it off but became unemployed, and actually had to move to another country to find a job. I forgot about this debt (incurred in 2004). Thing is even though I would really like to try to honor my debts I can't afford what they are asking right now. Even though I paid the $100 can I still request a Debt Validation letter?
