I have been doing a lot of research from this site and other sites. I am currently in the process of composing my "debt validation" letter.

A Man from this company called in Ref. and stated he needed to set up a check collection per my payment of $182.00 and I told I would send a money every Month and He stated He could not do this. I am Sorry that this Account From Capital One Ended up With you all, But Like I Explained to Him I Was Downside On ( 2 ) Job and having some Health Matter I am doing the Best I can. I Did not think one day my credit would end up this Way. Again I Called The Debt Collection that I am with and gave them The Address & My Ref.# to send this $182.00 Every Month.

im aware that pdl's are not legal in ny........this may be a dumb question, but is it true that all they can do is call me? can they actually garnish my wages or anything like that?

i have been reading some pretty interesting sagas about rjm which is making me have mixed and skeptical feelings toward the company. i actually have my own story but its not as nearly as intriguing. i have been contacted by rjm for years in regards to 3 outstanding debts i had. 2 of them i settled and paid and i'm working on installments for the last. i received a free credit report and it stated that the debt was settled and paid in full. so should i start being concerned about my debt and credit report now since i've come across this information about the company.

cash yes sent me a text message stating they will take legal action against me if no arrangement made to pay them by 4-9, and my account will be sold on 4-10. i owe them 1,012.50 including the finance fee (i borrowed 900 dollars) and i paid 112.50 on 3-19 which was only an extension fee, not toward the principal. i hate myself for having ever taken the loans i took...........i live in ny. need feedback from you all
