I got a summon in the mail from como law firm in st paul,mn on my medical bill. They are saying I have to sign it and send back to them within 20 days. That bill was around $1600. Now they are saying I have to pay them some other costs and interests bla bla. I dont know what I should do now. Anyone else deal with them before ? Thanks Joe

Last year I have decided to get back on my feet and straight out my financial situation once and for good I have decent income but was carrying over the years lot of debts paying minimum or slightly over minimum payment that was taking me nowhere, needless to say I was paying almost $4000 a month in credit card payments and debt did not decreased by penny from month to month, how did I get there? Doesn???t matter at this point, all I can say it did not show up over night I was carrying it year by year hopping that at some point I can pay it off, but couldn???t.

I owe about 40,000 and I want to call the companies to do settlements because debt consolidation companies charge 16% of the debt Do you have a form for me to send the companies to settle the amount. I don't want to pay another company about $6,000 if I can do it myself.

They said Quickest Cash is going to turn me in for bank fraud for my loan taken out in Nov. 2007. They want me to take one of their payment arrangements but I can only pay by debit or credit card. I'm not really sure what to do! I have been checking my bank statements from way back when cause this isn't the first threat I have gotten from these pdl people...what should I do with this one??

When a chapter 7 is filed and completed are any of the discharged debt subject to the IRS rule regarding settlements? This is where if you settle with a creditor outside or prior to a BK action any difference in settlement versus actual owed is subject to a 1099 and considered taxable. Does this same rule apply to BK-7's?

I got a call at work from an investagator saying that Quickest Cash is looking to press charges on me for bank fraud for a loan I took out in Nov. 2007! They want to cut me a deal and wants me to pay by credit or debit card by phone! Does Quickest Cash go by another name?? What should I do about all of this?? I did close my account in March 2008 but could not get ahold of them. I am in Ohio and don't know what to do about this!! I have about 10 payday loans out right now, i have had to close my checking account due to not being able to pay my home bills. As of today i received a call from one of the payday loan places stating that they are going to have me arrested if i dont pay them now. I live in north carolina can they doe this???? Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a call today from Law offices of Smitz and Caine about a loan from MTE Financial. They are giving us two days to file our they are sueing us they stated. What can be done?:confused:
