I am reaching 120 days past due on the citi account, I received a letter to settle for 69%. I have been in touch with citi bank for last two months with one lady and have given her update on the account. very nice lady. I offered 25% she said she has submitted it to manager for approval. For last two days its has been in pending. on the 27th it goes to new cycle and they say it will go to further collection and possible for litigation. I am confused. has any one dealt with citi in this suituation?

we had 2 payday loans(storefront) totaling 2000$ here in ohio. when my old man's hours started to go down at his job, we couldn't afford to pay them back on time. We contacted Relief llc(very nice people) to deal with the 2 lenders. they put us on a payment program of 149.00 every 2 weeks(payday). That was working until he got laid off.

Hi. I owe 4 days days loans(each borrowed for 300 dollars from speedycash, check into cash, pl$, and cashnetusa). 2 i believe have been sold to collections but i was wondering, after july 2010 in arizona will i still owe these pay day loans since they are going to be illegal? please help!!

How do you moderate? I saw the how to thread and I don't mean the mechanics...but what am I supposed to be looking for and such? Ive never moderated and I feel a little lost.

I'm having a horrible time dealing with a certain collection agency. So far I've been able to negotiate in good terms with my other creditors and being faithful to my payments (because we have set up amounts that I can afford). However, with this particular agency, they are such mean and harsh people that they just pressure you to commit to a high monthly payment, making horrible accusations, etc, and they give you no room whatsoever for you to pay something reasonable, applicable to your current budget.

This one was a bear. There's not a lot of data points here on the forum about Wells, and from my experience, they were tough to settle. They continued to hold the debt even though it charged off about 6 months ago. They outsourced the collection effort to Viking Collection Services, and they were tough, but above board from my dealings with them. Anyway, settled my $14k and change at 40%. Disappointed I couldn't get it lower, but it is what it is. That one is taken care of.

How can I take a debt from a collection agency and go back to my original creditor?
