I have a $673.00 amount on my credit report. It shows CAC Financial Corp on the info. Turned in 1st tim 10/06 I do not know what this is.

Are PDL's legal in PA? I am currently struggling with payment on PDL's and need to move off of them. I am willing to pay back the principle, and probably have more than 1X at this point, with the interest payments. i just gkt a letter today saying i owed more tha 600.00 dollars from when they say i purchased in 1995 and 1996 i now live ib ga i never had a bill with the people they say it was the original creditor have no clue should i just thrash it or call them

In trying to pay off old debt, I've read frequently that people recommend trying to pay the original creditor, which I have done with success a few times now. I know that Southwestern Bell is owned by AT&T now, and I have an active account with AT&T, opened in the past year, and they never advised me that I had an outstanding SW Bell balance. Does anyone think I have the option to pay AT&T for this existing balance? Or should I just pay Midland?

I gave a credit card number to receive a "free" sample of tooth whitener. Low and behold I find today my account charge for $40.00. I called the 800 number to find out why and it is this debt to wealth.com charging my account without my knowledge or permission. Isn't this illegal?

Just an FYI, I just received a text message from Spot on loans stating that I am eligible for a $300 loan. When I checked the site, spotonloans.com, this is PDL ventures. I have outstanding balances with Ameriloan and US Fast Cash that I refuse to pay. I have overpaid on both. PDL ventures appears to be the same company as Ameriloan and US Fast Cash.

I have a bofa ($14000) that is about 70 days and another one ($15000) that we have missed the first payment on. My husband has been out of work for a year and is doing side work, but has no steady income. They are offering a 5 year repayment program for each card. Does anyone have expereince with their repayment program? I asked what would happen if we missed a payment and they said nothing, we would just keep making payments when we could, this sounds too good to be true. I was told that the if we didn't take the repayment program, the account would charge off at 180 days.

I got divorced in 2002 and my divorce papers state that my ex husband was to pay any debts we had incurred when we were married. There was a medical bill in his name but services were for me. He called and had the hospital change the bill into my name after the divorce. He went to jail and now richard d seirstad is coming after me for the debt and sent a form that said my funds have been levied and froze my bank account. can they do that without a judgement against me?
