So April from Advance Me Today called my work today. I had told my employer and some co workers I am closer to what was going on so they were prepared to deal with the call. Is there anything I can do to stop them from calling work?

Hi all, just began the process of dealing with three illegal tribal lenders. Closed my checking account and fired off my emails to Ameriloan, Plain Green and Mobiloans. I've already overpaid on all three. Mobiloans already marked me as PIF without a fight. Plain Green appears to have done the same. Ameriloans is trying to get me to "settle" with them, the incessant phone calls started today. But they'll get nothing and I'll keep pressing them for a refund. They actually mentioned this forum in their reply, accusing it of providing "misinformation" LOL.

There was an odd voice message left just now. I know the chances of it being legit are about zero. Still. . . she talked so fast I could barely hear here but the gist was she said she was calling from someplace services in Flathead County (county I live in) notifying me of a pending claim that was being filed, something about diligence I think. Then she said they'd be actively verifying places of employment and residence or something like that. Again, she talked so fast it was hard to note everything.

Has anyone ever heard of this company? They do not identify themselves as a collection agency but keep calling my home concerning a supposed PDL from 4 years ago, but they do not provide any documentation when asked.

i was recently on the phone with a debt collector that bought an account from capital one regarding my husbands alleged account, i asked for validation and was told I already we received it in the letter saying it had been assigned to litigation department. I responded that we were unsure if we owed this. they said they had statements i am guessing they meant monthly statements from original creditor.

I attempted to negotiate payment terms with National Enterprise System on a private loan I took out for college that was unfortunately co-signed by someone that is no longer in my life. I fell behind on the payments when I was laid off my job in November 2012 but have since started working again. These collectors called me and my co-signer and I finally set up a payment arrangement with them (after much begging and pleading) that would be difficult to meet but still do-able at the time it was agreed.

Anonymous, Please they have to be registered somehow - since they don't just show up as unregistered.. all they do is re-post the same things we already have or false info -- really why are we allowing this?

I wish to settle my debts. I have no idea about how to do it on my own. I don't want to approach a settlement company right now. My debts are already killing me. I can't afford to pay the settlement fees. Can you please help.
