I have got 5 internet pdls and plan on paying 3 of them off on my next check. The other 2 are from Magnumcashadvance, and Cashprononow. Magnum is actually ok and that is an installment type of deal. But Cashprontonow is horrible. They have literally taken out more than they should have on one occasion and actually debited my account twice in 3 days on another. The latest thing happened about a month ago when I sent them an email stating that I wanted to pay $50 in principle and the $90 in interest for a total of $140.

All of a sudden my phone has gone quiet. Makes me a little nervous. LOL The last time I talked to B of A was about 11 days ago and they said that I might be eligible for a settlement offer next month. The last time Chase called was 7 days ago and the settlement was only 80%. That account won't charge off until about 6/10/2010. Has anyone else had these lapses of phone calls? It just seems pretty strange to me and makes me think something bad is going to happen. Tell me about your experiences down the settlement journey.

I'd like to know if it is always safe to use your debit card. In the past I have had issues of identity theft, so don't feel very confident about using debit cards. But I am also facing issues as my credit card debts are piling up. What are my options? Can I safely transact with a debit card?

I had an Auto Loan with Wells Fargo from August '03 - December '09. My credit score isn't the best, but I was in the process of applying for a home loan when I received an alert from my credit monitoring agency that my credit score dropped 57 points because Wells Fargo reported in error that I was 30 days past due on a payment in the amount of 30,931. I contacted them imediately to find out where/why this reported, not one representative could explain to me anything.

I live in NY. I own 10 different payday loans a total balance of $5,851.88 (prin: $4170, biweekly int: $1,681.88). I've searched the Internet for a payday consolidation loan, but get stopped every time I list my state. I've read message board posts stating that payday loans are illegal in NY, but how does that really help me if I've already got the loan? Are there any legitimate companies that can help me, and soon?

I have a few outstanding PDLs I need to deal with. I had to close my accounts because all my paycheck was going to these loans and I wasn't able to pay rent or any other bills and I was in deep trouble. Thanks to this site, I learned alot about these companies. I am going to deal with them on my time, but then I got an email from this company, Credit Protection Depot. I'm not sure which PDL they are representing or collecting for because it doesn't say. But they claim I owe over $800.

I cosigned my son's student loans and private loan for $130,000. Now it's my daughters turn! Will the banks allow me to cosign loans for her as well?Do you know of any banks that are doing loan consolidations now? My sons loans are in repayment. No bank was offering consolidations 6months ago.
