Hello~ I was recently served with documents from Suttell & Hammer (formally Suttlell & Associates). I just happended to be eating at my mom's place while being served. I'm currently homeless due to losing both my jobs, a divorce, and other legal matters that have left me struggling to survive. I am using the computer at my local library. I am not working at the moment, and I have not been able to make any payments to my creditors (all my bills have been turned over to a collection agency). I haven't been able to find any type of work because of legal issues.

I have a judgment against me by Palisade Collection LLC, and they were represented by Mann Bracken who is now defunct. I want to pay this off today but don't know who or where to send the money or if I still have to send them anything. Any insight would be helpful.

I mistakenly did not send a debt validation request within the 30 day period to a collection agency, Arrow Financial Services, who is seeking a debt that I do not believe they can validate (and may not even legally own). A validation letter wasn't sent to them out of my own ignorance. I wasn't aware of my rights and the steps to take at the time they first initiated contact and I can't afford to hire legal cousel or anyone to instruct me on procedure.

LOL but anyway my mother n law is a accountant an told me about this website called quizzle.com. i tried it out an its pretty close to our actual score an has all your bills an such posted just like if you were looking at a actual credit report. now granted i dont know much about credit scores an reporting an such. but im all about the FREE.

I just got served a summons from HSBC. I am being sued for $8,000. It was a stack of papers and not properly concealed and/or in an envelope. Plus, I didn't have to sign for it. It ws just handed to me. So is it legit or is it a scare tactic? How can I tell the difference. It says I have a "case management" scheduled for June 29th, at the local Justice center. I qualify for bankruptcy, so if I go ahead and start the filing process for bankruptcy before that date, will I be ok? Have never been in this situation before! Scared to death!

I sent a verification of debt letter to CACH regarding a cc. They inturn sent me copies of statements, a letter notorized stating that the debt was sold. BTW the letter is not on company letter head. It looks like they just xeroxed it. Also in the letter they sent they rambled off some legal case stating that they don't have to provide further proof of debt. Is this considered correct verification of debt? If not what is considered proper proof of debt? Thanks

This is interesting to me, got a few collection letters from a CA out of NY called NCSPlus Incorporated, they have sent two with different sized envelopes, got another one yesterday from NY, its on letterhead of Gary C. Cooke attorney at law, I know it came from the same office because one of the other letters the postage meter stamp has the same numbers at this letter we got yesterday. Now, NCSPlus has a bond with the state of Texas for debt collectors, but this Gary C. Cooke does not have one, not that I could find anyway. Yet the letter from Gary C.

I want to know if Jvc processing and midland finance are legal payday loan companies they are online loans,had someone call me yesterday and said I am a person of interest they were on there way to arrest me,say i owe them 800 dollars what should I do
