Does anyone have information on this company. My boyfriend signed up wth them to consolidate debt. He has paid the $700.00 and his creditors are still harrassing him? Any information on how to tell if they are legit? Thanks.

i talked to josh hammond sign everything electronicaly was to hear from someone. i am still being deducted for debp consolidation. i was to get a payment schedule and hepl in getting l725.00 back they have in escrow. as i stated i had signed with they nov 2008 and only one acct settled and one closed with they said i would have to pay taxes on because it was income. i thought when i talked to josh hammond i could not worry as long as i paid as per agreement. please me know what is going on my phone is03-***-**** thanks much

[COLOR=black]I am currently trying to crawl out of a payday loan cycle that I have kept up with for over a year now. I have paid off some, only to find myself being able to pay outrageous finance fees just to stay current. Almost 1,000$ every two weeks is coming out and we are going under because of it.

I’m asking any and all IL residents who have interacted with Nationwidecash.com Inc (licensed and operating in Delaware) to file a complaint with the IL Attorney General and the IL Division of Financial Institutions asking for the State of IL to issue an order directing NWC from offering payday loans to IL residents until the company complies with IL law. I was able to settle with NWC for only principal rather quickly (I paid them using a cashier’s check), but I filed reports asking the AG/DFI to issue a cease and desist order as the relief I am seeking.

I don't understand the necessity of requesting a DV while the debt is with the OC, but outsourced to a CA, and it has been confirmed with OC that the CA has the debt, but it isn't charged-off? To my understanding the 30 day rule doesn't apply for DV, if the CA doesn't own the debt, but is just servicing the debt - correct? If the account is charged-off, then I have 30 days to request a DV, even if it goes to the same CA that was servicing it - correct?

From what I'm reading, I can't really discern the major differences between choosing the settlement route vs bankruptcy chapter 13 route other than in ch. 13, my credit will be damaged more and longer than doing a settlement. Also, in ch 13, I'm protected from getting sued or harrassing calls. It sounds like in both methods, I will have to work a repayment plan with the creditors at a reduced rate. Are the rates comparable?

I realize this a loan / mortgage thread, but I didn't see anything regarding rental agreements/disputes. I have a serious dilemma that I need to post and find out an answer to. Maybe someone can let me know if I can post this problem for someone. Thanks!;)
