I received a voicemail from Allied Interstate on my cell phone. They did not leave me a message, however, they did not hang up the phone and I can hear a collector (or whatever they want to be called) contacting other people, and I can hear detailed information about their accounts. This seems like it should be some kind of violation of the FCRA.

I have recently defaulted on 2 Internet PDLs... The collections agengy has been calling my job trying to get my payroll # so they can getthe payment out of my next check. Recently my coworker was tricked into giving them the # when they said they wanted to validate employeement. CAN THEY DO THIS???? What are the California laws on internet PDLs??? PLEASE HELP!

I made three payments to them, then was going to consolidate through Chapter 128 Debt Relief. Havent had a chance to do it due to filing fee. Received notification of Small Claims from this company and called the Court Commissioner, who said I didnt need to show up, if I admit I owe the debt. They said I would receive a Financial Disclosure Statement. That is what I received, along with a GARNISHMENT FORM. If I knew this was going to come, I would have wnet to court date.

I recently in Dec recieved a payday advance in state of pa, I have been paying intrest every 2weeks since then. I sent them a message about our state laws being that this is illegal and no longer want them to debit my account. this is what they sent back , should I worry and am responsable to pay back , I respect a consumer who researches the services to which he/she uses. With that being said when you applied for and agreed to the terms of the loan it would have behooved you to read the complete contract you were agreeing to.
