Portolio Recovery is handling this debt now and I am now in a position to pay the balance owed in full My credit report shows both parties and I want to make sure I get my report cleaned up as this is my only bad issue. I want the best result for my credit report so dont want to pay anything until I know the best way to get the best outcome.

After not paying for so many months on the cc I imagine the interest rate will jump up, late fees added etc so the balance will go up quite a bit before a settlement is reached. When you negotiate the settlement will the creditor take it back to the orginal balance owed or what? I will ask for that but do they go for it? Wow I wish I could fast fw 6 months to see how this nightmare is going to all play out..sorry for all the questions!! Trying to imagine every possibility so I am prepared...

Hello, I am new to this forum. I've got some PayDay Loans with storefront and internet lenders. From reading several threads here, I've discovered that the internet lenders are most likely illegal. I live in California and the internet lenders I have loans with are Zip19.com and Flash Loans. Many of you have done this cease and desist letter with internet lenders that are illegal in your states. I'm looking for advice on what to do - I have a plan on how to get out of the storefront lenders I am dealing with. What information should I provide you?

Someone might have posted a similar question like this, but I could not find any info on it. I took out 2 payday loans about 3-4 months ago. I was employed at the time and about a month and a half ago, I was laid off. I am frantically searching for a new job, but nothing yet. The payday loan companies have NO sympathy that I am just now getting unemployment and I just cannot afford to pay anything back on these loans.

Has anyone heard of this company? I took out a PDL from them and shortly afterwards, I contracted with a debt consolidation company to get everything in order. Well they just called me at work and told me that I need to contact them by 5PM tomorrow to make payment arrangements. These PDL's have been a lessen for me. NEVER again. I know that I will come out from this, but I also know that they will be relentless.

Is this program free or are there fees incorporated into the debt payment? Lisa

Here's the deal in a nutshell. I have had a personal loan with Citifinancial since August 2007. I've been paying it off, every month, NO payments missed. That's none missed. What has happened is some late fees have accrued. That was from when I was mailing them in. Then, I started just making time to go by the branch and pay in person. Well, I go in on Monday of this week to make my monthly payment, and I am just floored by what happens. First, the rep tells me to "hold on a moment". He then vanishes into the back. He returns and hands me my check back.

I currently have no form of a picture id (lost my drivers license) except for my university id (Im a college student). Will the bank take that along with a social security card or something like that?
