If I let Chase charge off how will it report on credit report? Lets say I then settle with collection agency, will it change how Chase reports it?

When you stop paying your credit cards and it starts hitting the credit report can your bank that holds your checking accounts close off your overdrafts or lines of credit? Is there a way they find out that you don't pay credit cards even if you continue to pay on your overdrafts on time?
