I just recieved my second call from them. This time a second person was put on the line. He said he knew all the laws. He said I agreed to abide by there state laws when I signed the contract online. According to the DFI of KY this is not true. ARM said I needed to look back at my contract and I would see where I agreed to this. What is anybodys input about what ARM is saying?

Hi, I need some major advice as soon as possible.Im scared to death! I am self employed and have been for the past 12 years.I have a credit card for HSBC that i owed $5114 on that went to collection several months back.I did not send them a debt valadation letter because I just found this forum.

I am close (I believe) to settling with BOA but still trying to get them down on settlement about $2,000. I have been called by and calling 866-635-4316 but a couple of times on this board people have recommended calling 800-214-3544. Is there a difference? I tried both numbers and both resulted in them standing firm on their last 45% offer. Thanks

I have over 20K in online gambling debt, all via credit card transactions. I live in CA and now I find out that it has been illegal for credit cards to have allowed for these transactions to go through in the first place. Can i fight this? I have heard of people doing chargebacks but some of my debt goes further than 6 months. Can the CC companies be held liable?

I had sent a DV after their first contact. That was in November 2009. But they never responded back. After waiting for almost a month , I did a follow up with a second DV which too went unanswered. What do I do now? Shall I keep on sending DVs to them? What shall I expect them to do after this? The debt is still within the SOL. Nick

A person, whom I am guessing is a collector, called my office today. She identified herself as "Miss Tanya" and demanded I or my lawyer call her back immediately and reference a file number when returning the call. I plan on responding to the call today on my lunch break.

A few months ago my boyfriend was served for a debt he was going to be sued for. It's from American Express. He quickly called the lawyer suing him and worked out a payment plan with them. It wasn't what they had wanted - but he explained he was paying back other debt as well and that the payment he was offering them was based on what he could afford as he did not want to default on other arrangements he had made with other companies. They took his offer.

Has anyone had a good or bad experience with this company out Florida?
