My case is in the Superior Court in King Couty Washington, and the notice hearing have Without Oral argument check, wich when I called the clerk, they tell me that it is not required for me to appear at the hearing, the judge will review the case based on available document. I am going to file a Motion to dismiss, can someone check to see if this is ok, if not, what can I do to change? I have some unpaid credit card debts stemming back 10 years ago and since receive the occasional 'collection letters' from various companies who bought off the credit card debts from the original credit card companies. Most recently I just requested my credit report for the first time and found out from the credit report I have no "collections" actions,etc. but under Public Records, that I have a Judgment on my account filed 11/2005 with a local court and the fee amount of $7,000 from Plaintiff: Credigy Receivables.

I have an account with Chase, formerly with Washington Mutual they have turned it over to IC Systems. The account is currently 162 days or so past due, I talked to one of there reps tonight and she said that the account is eligable to be chared off at the end of this month because it would have been 6 months since my last payment and that they don't always wait 180 days to charge off the account. Is that true?? They are offering me a settlement of 792.00 the balance is now 1500.00 when I stopped paying it was 1200.00. Any feedback would be appreciated.

My husband and I received a letter saying that we owed money to them because of an account with T-mobile that has a open balance. When my husband called they said that if we paid a certain amount of money that T-mobile will reactivate our lines. However when we call T-mobile and talk to them about it they say that is not an option. Has anyone else been told this? And what do we do?

I just found out that I have a judgement against me for a student loan that I am still paying on. The judgement is on my credit report. What is this and why, when I'm still paying on the account? Can it be removed from my credit. The judgement was in 2007.

I was recently connnected by phone about a pay day loan that I defaulted on in 2006. I truely have forgotten about it until hearing from a collection lawyer yesterday. I told tham I would pay the outstanding balance of 265.00 when I got my income tax this year and he became very rude and told me I had alot of income tax since then I wasnt trusted to pay this one. He told me to borrow it from someone by today or he will file charges against me.

Hi, does anyone know about USMAC Law purchasing your home from their investors and you pay back the loan to them?? So it's not a modification, it would be refinancing thru them I guess?? Any and all help is appreciated!!
