Has anyone delt with Debtmerica?

I have a loan with First American Credit. They advertise it as a personal line of credit or small personal loans. My question is do they have to have a license to lend in Ohio...that's where I live. It appears they are not a PDL. Also I have no contact info for them other than a phone number and fax. Anyone have any other info on them?

I'm being sued by a debt collector...I received the judgement hearing papers this past weekend. My only income is social security which is directly deposited into my bank account each month. Can they take my social security? I have no other assets. And what will happen after the judgement hearing which I am not attending? I live in Virginia. Thanks

I settled on a internet payday loan with payday max in dec 2008. The loan was for 500.00 and we settled for 320.00.today i received a 1099 form from Credit Protection Depot for 1475.00......do have to include this as income and where did the 1475.00 come from? How should I proceed?
