I keep getting a call from this number,But when I pick up no one is ever on the other side? 410-629-7081 they only card left is BOA ,But they never called from that number before

I am starting my journey to settle my accounts on my own. I owe to Citi about 30K on two credit cards 60 days pas due. Chase 25K 30 days pas due. American express 8k 30 days past due. So far I have been avoiding their phone calls and have not spoken to any one yet, any idea when it will a good time to talk to them shoud i take their phone calls? I appriciate any help in this regard.

I am about $13K in debt. Pretty soon, my 0% interest offer will expire, and I will have a 21% APR. I have been unemployed for the past year. I also have student loans. I can and will not ever be able to afford my credit debt now. I also need to go back to school so I can actually get a job. I am thinking about letting my card go delinquent and negotiating a settlement. I can't afford anything else. But I'm afraid of getting sued. Do you have any advice?

Got a letter from them about my past due chase account.I am waiting them out for a settlement and i am probably aout 110 days past due of 9900 according to this letter.I have not talked to chase at all since i became late.At the bottom of the letter it says mail payment to chase bank usa and gives address.I assume i can still deal directly with chase because it says mail payment to them,correct?I am hoping to have enough cash to attempt to settle within a couple of weeks and would strongly prefer to deal directly with chase.Anyway should i call chase now and try to work out a settlement or wai

IMO it's the American greed which is responsible for our ongoing financial crisis. We simply can't live within our means and hence have to live on credit cards. My niece who is just 23 years old drives the most flamboyant car. It is clearly beyond her affordability. She is already upside down on her loan but cares the least. I am interested in knowing how I can knock some sense into her.

So two weeks ago I received a summons to appear in court. The plaintiff is a law firm that is representing Palisades Collection LLC, which is collecting for a credit card I had two years ago. I had received a notice of this collections before but whenever I attempted to call the collector they would have a busy signal. I found out that someone had been using my credit card for a couple of months and they actually maxed out the card. I have a police report filed and I sent letters to the credit bureaus and the FTC. Now my question is what I should do about the court summons.
