Ugh I feel so stupid and I HATE confronting the fact that I am up to my ears in debt. I feel like it is pointless to even try and pay off the debt, because the interest just keeps going up and up and up. Here are my debts: Compass Bank $869.00 (BTW, this is stupid, because the original overdraft was for something like $10.00. They added one overdraft fee, then added a bunch of different fees every five days or something like that.

I have the following payday loans with balances due: United Cash Loans, $195.00 Dollar Quick, $188.00 500 Fast Cash, $195.00 Loan Point, $300.00 Pay Day One, $400.00 East Side Lenders, $520.00 I also have loans with Star Cash Processing and Integrity Cash Advance but I've been unable to reach them online to find out what my balance is on each of them. I live in Louisiana and I applied for each of these loans online. With all of that said, let me now say how stupid I feel.

If a debt collector is calling, and there is no "permissable purpose" doesn't that fall under sales solicitation, and if I am on the do not call list, doesnt that violate the do not call list?

I am wondering how far behind you have to be before credit card companies will turn you over to CA. In particular Chase and Wells Fargo.

I am about 6 months behind on my bank of america credit card as well and several others.My check is already garnished for child support.I changed my phone number to avoid all the calls from creditors and have not spoken to anyone since I stopped paying.I have recieved numerous letters in the mail from all my credit cards offering to settle my debt but i am unable to come up with the money to settle.

If these payday loans are illegal and you have offered to set up payment plans but they are unwilling to work with you, what do you recommend.

two years ago i was served with a court order for a gym membership I cancelled. I still had to pay. I settled with Mann Bracken LLP. They have been deducting $125 from my account every month up until December 2009. I found this weird that they have not called me. I tried calling the numbers on my statement but they seem to be disconnected. I looked online and the numbers there are all disconnected. I am not sure what to do at this point??? Can someone please help.

Does any one knoe of EME Marketing or ACS. I got a call at work today from a representative of the "Legal" Department of ACS and was threatened with jail time, he said a warrent was out for me and that if I wanted to avoid getting picked up at work I needed to settle a debt I held with EME Marketing LLC for Jan of 2008. He said that I was being accused of breaking three federal laws. I have had payday loans in the past but did not remember this one so I called a number for EME and the represetative who answered the phone said that I did not have a loan with them.
