California Based - Please Help.. I originally requested a payday loan with ZIP.19 / Northway Financial a few months back. I have paid a total of bi-wkly fees in the amount of $417.00, I am not sure of my original requested amount as their website will not allow me to log on anymore: zip.19.com Total Paid - $417.94 Paid - 11/30 - $208.97 Paid - 11/30 - $208.97 Paid - 11/10 - $300.00 Paid - 10/30 - $388.94 I am financially strapped and can no longer keep paying these fees? I also checked the below site and they are not listed in CA as a payday loan.

I Live In Florida I have taken out two PDL's from the above referenced companies. When I took out the PDL I understood that the loan terms were not to exceed thirty one days. These PDL's originated on 10/20/09. I have had a difficult time reaching these companies. What should I do?

LVNV is on my credit report for an HSBC account. Resurgent sent me a letter wanting to settle my 650 to 250 on behalf of LVNV. I have read so much on here about them, but should I settle and just keep the letter so they cant sell the rest to someone else?

Just wondering if any of you have advice with American Express We are 60 days past due on Am Ex account (10k balance) Am Ex sent our account to NCO Financial about 1 week ago. They have called quite alot and one of the reps brought up the fact that I could settle. I said oh really ?? She went down to 55 % (or $5,525) Should I wait til about 6 months or just settle now ? I would like to settle at 25% but dont know if that is realistic. Thanks for any advice

Tomorrow is the big day, and I'm scared! I'm closing my bank account and then I'm going to contact the 2 PDL's I have outstanding to let them know they will be paid in full by February. I am going to verify that my bank (PNC) will not reopen my account after tomorrow no matter what - I hope they agree. I'm opening a new account at a new bank on Friday. However, my biggest concern is writing my letters to Cashdirectexpress and Paydaymax. New to debt settlement and have a quick question: I successfully settled a BOA account today - 25% settlement on $17,800 owed. I may have screwed up my USAIR Visa however, at least for the time being. The had offered a 40% settlement last week - I wanted to be sure we would have enough funds to settle both accounts simultaneously and didn't want that one to charge off. The USAIR rep talked me into making one payment - then I got a letter in the mail that I was enrolled in a hardship program - not what I agreed to.
