I have unfortunately 4 payday loans that I need to consolidate. Should I let them go to collections and then use a debit consolidation company to pay them off? Credit is poor so I can't find a loan to pay them off. Any suggestions on a company that will loan $2000-$3000 with poor credit?

So, I got served with papers over an outstanding credit card balance. This was approx. 2 months ago. I immediately called the law firm and told them that I could pay right then but, would try to work on payment within 90 days. They said something about settlement amount approx. 2300 for a 3200 amount listed on court paper. I had been working on paying off another large bill that I was down to 2 payments on. So, fast forward to last week.

I also just received a call from this number - The Bar Group (is who they id'd themselves as when I asked). The message I received was from a Michael Abrahms who id'd himself as a process server for the state. He left me a number to call (number noted above) incase I wanted to attempt to resolve prior to going to court. Called the number and spoke with a Ms. Leverett she told me that my account was sold to them - I'm assuming it's a collections agency? When I requested validation of the debt she started yelling at me and hung up on me.

Has anyone dealt with this company for a home modification?

Has anyone ever heard of the above mentioned collection agency? They called me at work today as well as sent a wage garnishment to my payroll department. I called them back and asked the lady who they represented and asked her for validation. She hands the phone to her supervisor, and as she's doing that, she told him that I was fighting about it. When he got on the phone, I told him that I wasn't fighting, I just wanted validation.

hello everyone!! I'm just curious if anyone is having trouble trying to get on Yahoo Mail. Does anyone know if the website is 'down'? Just curious if it's just ME who can't get on Yahoo. Thanks.

Are wage garnishments handled differently if you are self employed?

These people crack me up. So I sent the letter revoking all ACH transactions and stated that they are illegal and that I have already overpaid them and today they send me an email stating that they need "new contact information" --hmmm deal with the stuff in the letter folks.

i defaullted on a signature loan from a federal credit union. can i open another account at another bank?
