I keep getting calls at my work from 818-338-5092, they all have a heavy sounds like india accent and they say i owe money to instant cash?? at least i think that is what he said. He has all my info but i have never dealt with a place called instant cash. He asked if i had an attorney and that i was going to get a supeana. I asked to get something faxed over to me and they said they would not do that. they have now contacted my mom and got her all worked up saying i was going to loose my job. Is there anyway i can find out who these people are and who they are working for?

I am being sued by Capital One and received a Rules of Discovery document. Can someone tell me what this is and what I do with it?

Anyone have any dealings with Instacash? We got a call stating that we have criminal charges against us for a loan company that we have never used. They can't tell us a date for the loan but do have the names of our references from previous loans. Is this a scam?

Hello, I am being sued by capital one for over $1,300 the original debt is $500.00 The claim is legitimate, I haven't paid in about a year due to opening my own business and having no profit or income. My question is I was served at my door, and have 20 days to file a response. What is the best way to do this? Can I just write my situation down and offer to settle for payment with the full amount? Should I seek an attorney, can't really afford one but am very scared, the legal formality and jargon has me feeling like I will wind up in jail and I don't have the money to pay for this.

Hello. I am considering filing bankruptcy on my own for my debt, seperate from my spouse. Our mortgage does not have my name on it nor do either of our cars. We have no other joint property.
