well by the end of january i hopefully will have 2 of my credit card accounts paid in full. discover will be paid off by the end of june, and i have paid off one of my personal loans with my credit union and i have another year and half to pay off the other one. i am getting down to the wire and as nice of a feeling that is i gotta say i feel anxious.

On 11/30 I emailed Payday Loan Yes aka Cashnet 500 (internet loan) a C&D letter asking them to send me their license number (which they didn't send), so I can check and make sure they are a legitimate company and to stop calling me @ work (and they have not). Instead, I got an email stating I owe them $510.00 with a payoff amount of $430.00 (offered a payment arrangement of (2) payments of $215.00). I got a $300.00 loan from them on Oct. 2. I made (3) payments of $90.00 to them before I closed my checking acct. I have paid them $270.00 on the loan already.

I’ve been reading post on this site about WI PDL laws and I’m confused about whether or not 3 of my PDLS are illegal or not. The 3 in question are myCashNow, 500Fast Cash USFast Cash. They did not solicit me for the loan, I went to their website and applied, so does that mean they are legal then in WI? I just want to determine if I should be paying back what I borrowed, or what my total balance is including fees. Thanks, T

I sent a letter to Mypaydayloan.com saying they are illegal in Indiana and I only owe them the principal balance of $400. I have already paid $250 and have a payment of $162.50 scheduled for next week. That would bring the total payments to $412.50. They sent me this email in response to my letter. Should I just tell them I will pay the $162.50 next week but that is all since they are ILLEGAL? In regards to contract venue, you were required to consent to ???avail yourself to Costa Rican law??? which you did willingly and unsolicited.

What arre the standard sign up fee charges. ?

I currently reside in Michigan. I took a loan out with this company in November for $250.00. Don't know if this company is legal or not, but somebody there has to be cleaning up and living high off the hog. They charge a fee of $75.00 just to get the loan, then every pay day they continuously charge the same amount unless you send in writing that you want to pay down the principle or pay off the loan. So far I have paid $150.00 to them in fees alone. Now I plan on paying this loan off next week but guess what, the fee is still the same whether the loan is renewed or not.

i got discharged from my job, certified nursing assistant...had a background check done,,,and the boss did not like what he saw on it..it does not effect my job,,company polices..i was discharged , not fair,,but not a protected item. looking for job, 22000 unsecured debt..cc, dell computers. hopefull get a job soon, thought its tough, even in the health industry....too many cna,s out there, and companys reducing work force... i don,t want to do bankruptcy, debt settlement seems bad too.

I took out a $20,000 private student loan in 2006 and recently been in contact with the company who holds my loan. My current interest rate is at 6% but is variable and I owe almost $30,000 now. I will be starting a job next week making approximately $2300-2500/month.
