Contact the Department of Banking and Securities etc. Do I have any recourse. They keep telling me I owe them.

how do I know what companies are good and which ones are out to scam me?

I know I need to close my bank account and open a new one. Is it Ok to open it at the same bank or is it better to open one at a different bank. Can the loan companies get the new bank info if I open one at the same bank?

Good morning everyone ! I was wondering if anyone had any advice on my sitiutaion. My wife and I own a small biz. (Sole Propietor) in CA. We have a Small Business line of credit with Union Bank of Ca for 100k -- it is a unsecured line not attached to anything. Business has been real slow for a year or two but we have never been late for 10 plus years! But we just got one of those letters --- "due to the economic eviroment" we must term out your loan to a five year loan. What ??? So our payment of $ 700 per month (interest only) is going to go to about $ 2,300 P&I !

a guest bought this to my attention.i really do think sunil,debtlander,and aj3472 are the same person.i think an ip trace is in order.i mean they all post the same way,and i'm begining to suspect some of the posts are copied just as sunil did.just seems odd that two members just like sunil post the same after they supposedly leave.i think it's worth looking into.

May of peoples are in debt problems. Most of them are using consumer credit counseling to lower or get out from debt. Consumer credit counseling services can help for this...? I have doubt,because may of them are earnest company,the have no desire to help consumer in his this difficult situation..!!!

Greystone Alliance has purchased a credit card debt that I have been unable to pay since late 2002-early 2003. I got laid off from a good paying job then and haven't been able to recover and can barely make ends meet w/my current salary. Until I somehow get a huge salary increase or win a state lottery, I am unable to pay off the old debt. They have now called my place of work twice. What can I do?

Ok,,, Yesterday I thought that "sunil" was again posting all over the boards as "debtlander" I still believe that to be true, Today there is someone "AJ3472"who is also posting like a mad man all over, but only answering the posts that "debtlander" wrote. It seems to me that Sumil, Debtlander and now AJ3472 are all the same person just posting crap to earn points.
