I have spent the last several weeks reading over this forum looking for answers on how to get out from this pdl nightmare, and appreciate the time and effort you have put into all the research and posts. I tried searching, but was unable to find the answers. I live in Kentucky, and have 6 internet pdl's... DJR $600.00, paid 450.00 ( there wasn't even a deposit for 600.00, only 300.00) Cash Jar $100.00, paid 300.00 Integrity $300.00, paid 450.00 (paid off) Loanpoint $500.00, paid 650.00 (paid off) Instant Cash $ ?

Just curious as to when this company usually repos cars. I am just 15 days late, but have been 45 days late once before (earlier this year). I live in the state of Kentucky. Thanks for the help! :)

What should I specify to have in writing from BoA specifically? What I know: Amount agreed upon "paid as agreed" to appear in my (what do you call it Credit file?) Questions: should my wifes name be included? I dont know if her credit has/will be affected as she is merely a permitted card user, though she has a card of her own connected to to my accnt (had:-) probably needs to mention that the settlement is for the total debt including any interest or late fees since my last payment?

I am confused. Is FIA card services Bank of America or a collection agency or something else? I am 120 day out since my last payment was able to be paid on $20000 cc. I received a letter from fedex requesting a $500 payment or the whole amount would be due. Should I make a settlement offer? I plan to offer $4000 (which I have saved :-) thanks -D

I received a letter from Mid-Land a while back re and old Citi Card that was charged off. Inever responded. Now I received a letter from and atty office that they are collecting on their behalf. I called the atty and set up a payment plan. Can I stop the payment and request a DV letter?? I know I owe the old debt but want to see if I can settle this??

I have 7 PDL's and I don't know what to do. I've had some of these loans since May '09 and these companies are taking everything I have. I can't even pay my other bills, what can I do to get from under this. How am I protected by Alabama laws? A friend of mine has a business that is not doing too good. He is a month behind on the rent and he got a letter from the landlords son, who happens to be an attorney. He told him in the letter it was an eviction, then changed it to pay up what he owes and he can stay. He also said he violated a lease agreement, he never had a lease the rental was on a handshake.

I was advised that the Statute of Limitations on credit card debt in WA. state is 3 years from the last activity. Is this true?
