does anyone know anything about a company called M. Callahan & Assiciates? I had a payday loan through cashnet that they are saying has been sold to them. they are asking for alot more then my loan. I am in California. Any help on how i should deal with these guys?

Is this online payday lender legal in ohio? I have a loan with now and i signed a wage assignment with them. Can they still hold to this if the loan is ilegal. How shold i proceed....does have anyone have a mailing address phone number or e-mail address....please help.

I have about 190,000 in debt and have received an offer from a debt settlement co for 7.5% (14250) spread over 18 months to handle my debts. Is this a good offer?

Hi, I would be grateful if anyone could look at my situation and offer advice. I am in Texas. This is what I owe and have paid in fees: Ace Cash Express - $1000 - $882 paid in fees Apply Advance America - $1000 - $762 paid in fees Check n go - $500 - $408 paid in fees Loanpoint USA - $300 - $450 paid in fees Wages Fast - $200 - $225 paid in fees CMG Group - $200 - $225 paid in fees They are all internet loans. The fees I pay bi-weekly take all my paycheck. I can't go on like this as I am behind on everything else now.

I was wondering if someone could help me help my sister. She lives in FL and has her home loan through GMAC. She is current on her payments right now. But is trying to redo her loan. GMAC will not help her and sent her a letter telling her she does not make enough money to stay in her home and they suggest she sell it. Like thats gonna happen. So now she is thinking about not making her payments. She did lose one of her jobs and thats the reason why she doesn't make enough for them.

I got a call from someone over at AS&S Associates. I defaulted ( and by defaulted I mean blocked them from charging my account since I'm from NY) on a VIP loan and the account is now with AS & S. I called VIP after i spoke to this woman and they said it's out of their hands and I can only deal with AS & S. My original loan was for 400. Now AS & S says I have to pay them 959 dollars right away or they are sending my account to court. They didnt even give me an option to settle the account in payments. I have no idea what I can do now. Suggestions?

I was in the process of filing complaints with our AG office and read at the bottom of the form that the complaints become public record. Hmmm, I am trying to keep this as private as possible so am having second thoughts now. Maybe I won't be pursuing a $960 refund after all. : ( I am going to try and call the AG office this afternoon to see if I can get some guidance. The companies must (or soon will) know that I didn't file a complaint because they would be notified by the AGs office, too. The one that wants me to sign a release gave me until next Monday so I still have some time.

Has anyone ever heard of Krohn and Moss- they are supposedly a law office and deal with conusmer laws. I called them for advice and they want to pursue a case against CDR known as Clear Debt Solutions LLC . As they state and the agreement they emailed states I have no out of pocket expense. They collect their money from CDR & Associates? Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.

Who are these people and why are they taking money out of my account.
