Hi, I have 4 pdls and all are internet. I live in Wisconsin, and have read the rules. I have talked to DDS and have thought about doing their program. I do have other debt that is also in credit counseling. I have 3000 in pdl's with no way to keep paying their interest. I called each of them and was told i cannot get a payment pan at 2 until they have reached their max rollovers. My credit is not good enough obviously to get a consolidation loan. DDS told me to freeze my account, and to open another, which i have done.

Got a call that told me to call 1-888-322-1888. I tried calling back it didn't say who it wad when I got connected just that if I held anagent would be with me soon. does anyone know who it is? I tried googling the number but it didn't work.

the ACM group has been leaving threatoning messages on my grandmothers answering machine. I called the number she gave me and spoke with a Robert Chase. He told me a complaint has been filed against me and I was going to be sued in court. It is over a credit card from JC penney that had a balance of 125 dollars left on it about 3 years ago. I lost my job and just didn't have the money.. I know it isn't a good excuse, and yes I know it needs to be paid.

Does anyone have any experience settling with Credit Unions?

Is 600 a fair credit score? Or is it negative? What is considered okay, or good?

Hi all, I live in Colorado, and I currently owe about $34,000 on credit cards: 26 to CitiBank, 4 to Chase, and 4 to Capital One. I am married, but wanting to get a divorce soon and move out on my own. I do not want to ruin my husband financially. This debt is all in my name. Currently, I have no real income. I am a grad student, so I have been paying my bills with excess student loan disbursements and a small amount of money I was making working for my school, which has stopped now.

I understand that if you are behind on your CC payments the account goes to internal collections. After (I believe) 10 months or so it goes to an external Collection Company. Which one is better to negotiate in terms of debt settlement and which one will damage your credit the least? On your credit report the original CC will say " turned to a collection agency" Will there be a second ding from the collection agency? Thanks

i have been served a notice to file an appearance in court 11-25-09 for payday loan by their collection agency. can i still revoke wage assignment. what is the difference of a garnishment and what can be done about it

I'm not yet ready for debt settlement as I'm not late yet on any payments. I'm just really close each month and it's only a matter of time. Since my credit is still good I'd like to see about getting a debt consolidation loan, does anyone know where I can find one? Everything i've seen locally is tied to equity which I only have 10% of in my home. Thanks
