I am in desperate need of a car soon due to work. i'm really trying to figure out the best way to go about doing this. I don't have great credit, scores i think are in the low 600's...I have a student loan that's in good standing, no revolving credit, and a couple of collections that are 3-6 years old depending. I also wouldn't be able to get a co-signer. I really want to know what i'm doing so if anyone can advise about my situation, please help 1) Will I qualify? I take home about 1900 a month income after all taxes and everything (1300 gross every 2 weeks).

Are there any payday loan consolidation services available for storefronts? I called Langhorne but they said I did not qualify because I did not have any online loans. Just got a call on my caller ID from CollectCorp. I owe on a CC from BofA. I want to be fully prepared when I talk to anyone from there. BofA sold off my bad debt in two days! I am assuming that these a collector for BofA.

If they are not licensed as a collection agency in New Jersey, how can they handle the collections for Eastside Lenders? I've looked at NJ's website and it states collection agencies must be bonded.... Can I tell them to "go to hell"??

I need your help! Has anybody been in Russia? What’s your opinion? I’m going to go there in spring but still I need more information. All I’m familiar with is Moscow… Can you suggest me something? Someone please help me understand these debt settlements. I do taxes for a living, and from what I've seen and know of the tax law, credit card debt forgiveness is INCOME, right? So you pay taxes on it.. With the debts being settled, are people able to negotiate something other than a 1099 coming at the end of the year? Also, I've been dealing with credit card companies for years and typically the rep on the other side of the phone is blowing a lot of smoke that has no credibility.
