I have been contacted by this company, and I have read other posts about them using illegal tactics to collect debt. I don't really understand the whole debt collection process, so I was wondering why a company would sell a debt to a company such as this? Also, should I contact them back? They did not say on the message who they were trying to collect for, so I just don't know where to go from here.

My husband and I are just starting out on our own debt settlement journey. We stopped paying as of October 1st. Of course we have been getting a lot of calls, and I have just now started talking to them to keep them from constantly calling. I tell them we just had a baby and therefore a lot of medical bills, and our house payment recently went up by $600 a month due to taxes (all of which are true).

anyone familiar where this company is? i can't find them on google. i want to send them a cease and desist letter but don't know where to send it.

These people have started harrassing me at work and at home. I believe it is from a payday loan that I defaulted on - the payday co settled and I never heard back from them. Any ideas?

I just found your forum and I am hoping that someone out there has some tips for me to get out of this hell I have created. I was u/e for quite a bit of 2008, when I got a job last October I had taken over a 50% cut in pay. A few months into my new job I had to turn to the Payday Loan alternative as a last resource. I have done a faily good job of keeping my head above water, but that is about to change pretty dramatically.

An officer came to my house at 5:50 in the morning to serve me a civil warrant. I was not home. My roommate answered the door and was told by the officer that although he's sorry for waking him up, he'll be back every day at that time knocking hard unless I answered the call. Is this legal? I know debt collectors can only call at certain hours, but I'm not certain about the rules of being served a civil warrant. Is this harassment?

I have loans with Magnum Cash Advance, Integrity Advance, and Thinkcash.com(through First Bank of Delaware). I am no longer able to afford biweekly payments. I have now discovered that payday loans are not regulated and are illegal in KY (where I live). I am going to have my bank put a stop on withdrawels from all 3 companies. On the installment loan through Thinkcash.com, need to know if i can get them to work with me on monthly payments and if they are completely legal in KY. I did find where the FDIC had an action against them of some sort but didn't totally understand the wording.

Have you ever heard about Cash Transfer Centers?

HELP!!! Can anyone, someone just tell me which of the 10 idiotic internet payday loan companies is legal in TX? When I called the Attorney General's office yesterday, they had me call the CCC. The CCC told me that internet payday loans are unregulated in TX but are under the laws of the FTC???
