Hi all, Been lurking for a couple of weeks since I realized I was in over my head. Just one illegal PDL (others are legal and allowed epp) stood between me and getting out of this once and for all. I sent this letter, modified from the great example on these forums, with some snippets of state law, and got a response within 6 hours. Basically, I went with their assertion that I was covered under their law when I never set foot on the reservation, but explained to them why that didn't really matter.

I copied the letter from this forum and emailed it to First America Credit stating that I am a resident of Ohio and they are not licensed in my state. My principal balance plus interest has been paid already...this is how they responded... In response to your allegations about our loan been unlicensed, remember that per our loan agreement, both parties (you and us) have accepted choice of law outside of your state.

I am writing because I have gotten a loan with greatplains lending and have come to be told that their lending in the state of Ohio is illegal/un-valid. I have also been told since that is the case the agreement is null and void and no payments should be made or allowed to be taken from my bank since it is an unvalid loan. Is this true and does this have any solidity to it? What should I do?

Ok here goes I have got all my former loans taken care of except for two companies Ameriloan and Usfastcash. I have heard horror stories about these two companies these will be my last two. I plan on emailing and faxing letters just like I did the other two any tips of advice when dealing with these two companies?

I have Internet payday loans with Cash Jar and Greenwood Holding Group LLC. Both list no city or state of address on document received on my account.

I have multiple payday loans, some on web some not. I live in Kansas, Missouri and know most of my lenders are legitimate according to the state website. However, I'm wanting to close my bank account to resolve my payday loans on my own terms. Will I run into issues closing my account if I have not revoked the ACH rights?

Does anyone know if these two payday loans are exempt from MN or illegal in MN???? I need help, I did a loan through them and have paying them on time for a year now. It's financially hurting me. What to do????

My husband AND I both have a mobiloans pdl. Each are 750$ we've both paid them well over &1,000.00. Are mobiloans illegal in Anderson, Alabama?? I have yet to make contact with the lender or my bank, as I am confused and lost. I just need these payments each week to stop! They take $112. Every week! 2 payments are mine and 2 are my husbands. Good Morning, I have taken out a few loans with My Web Funds, and have paid them all in full, PLUS interest. I have over paid the principle on about 4 loans. They now switched owner's and their name is under My Web Funds still, but then MexSend SAPI also. They FAILED to take out my payment 2 Fridays ago. They send me an email saying this was an error on their part. Today I got an email saying I skipped a payment and they would take legal action.

I am unable to pay my payments in full, or on time. I need to lower the amount of payments, but bad credit and missed payments eliminate me. What can I do?
